When will you open your Winchester location?
Vibrissa Beer, Winchester, VA is open! Find us at 2 North Kent Street, Winchester, Virginia.
Are dogs allowed?
We allow a limited number of well-behaved dogs in our beer gardens during the warmer days as long as crowd size and other conditions permit. Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs inside the facilities because we are a full restarant which is prohibited by code. When you arrive, check with our staff before bringing your dog into our outside areas. We will help you and your dog get situated in the beer garden or outside tented areas. Service dogs are welcome anywhere in the taproom or restaurant.
Is smoking permitted?
We do not allow smoking in indoor or outdoor customer areas.
Can you accommodate children?
We welcome children anywhere in our restaurants or taprooms, except at the bar. Our beer gardens are especially conducive to children, providing an outdoor area where children may feel more comfortable. We offer children’s selections for even the pickiest of little ones. We sometimes have live music on the weekend nights which may be loud or otherwise uncomfortable for young children.
Do you host parties?
We will gladly host your personal party, business meeting, or other similar type of event, at either of our locations. We offer a variety of menu options and plans and will work with you to customize your event to meet your budget and other requirements. We can accommodate groups of up to 150 people with a facility buy-out (mid-week only), but can also provide semi-private areas for smaller groups on most days. We will need to work closely with you to schedule your party. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate all requests, given other commitments and customer promises we have made. Do you have outdoor seating?
Yes, we have extensive outdoor spaces at both our Front Royal and Winchester locations. Front Royal includes a beautiful, enclosed beer garden and an elevated deck, as well as outdoor tented areas on some weekends during the warmer months. Winchester offers a beautiful, expansive beer garden, with firepit, tents, lawn games, and a variety of fun and attractive seating options.
Do you do delivery and takeout?
We no longer deliver or utilize and third-party delivery services. Please see Vibrissa Beer’s online menu. For beer, we sell cans and growlers to-go, if those strike your fancy. In Winchester, we also sell crowlers to-go.
Do you take reservations?
Unfortunately, we are unable to take reservations at either location for groups under 15 guests, but we can seat relatively large groups in both our Front Royal Winchester locations. If you’re concerned about getting a seat, please contact us and we can advise you on crowd size and expectations.
Do you sell liquor and wine?
In Front Royal, we offer a fully-stocked bar, with our own menu of craft cocktails, popular mixed drinks, and a large assortment of wines and a great hard cider. In Winchester we offer wine, hard cider, and hard seltzer. We do not sell liquor in Winchester.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we are fully ADA compliant at both locations. When visiting Front Royal, please use our Main Street entrance if you are entering with a wheelchair.
Where can I park?
In Front Royal, free parking is available in the town parking lot behind the building off of Peyton Street, as well as some limited street parking in the front of the building on Main Street. The town of Front Royal also offers ample, free public parking in two other lots less than 1 block from the brewery.
In Winchester, we offer a free, on-site parking lot, with dozens of parking spaces marked for our customers. In addition, we are across the street from a parking garage and a block and a half from the Winchester walking mall, which offers many, affordable parking options.
Do you offer healthy, gluten-free food options?
Yes, our menus are indicate which menu items are gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian and our serves are well-versed in assisting you. Our Executive Chef is diligent about ensuring we offer a range of choices whatever your dietary preferences or requirements may be.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Yes! Please share fully with our staff any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have. We will answer questions you have about ingredients or food preparation and will ensure the kitchen is aware of your special requirements. If you wish, one of our chefs can visit your table to consult with you or to address questions or concerns about your allergies.
Do you offer Brewhouse tours?
Yes, we love to show off our facilities! Please call in advance if you would like a brewhouse tour, so we are prepared to show you around.
Do you provide any special services for hikers?
Our Front Royal facility is “Grand Central” for hikers. The town of Front Royal offers shuttle services from the Appalachian Trail to the brewery or you can hike in. Our Basecamp provides free shower and laundry facilities for hikers, a repacking station, boot drying, and caged lockers to store gear while you visit the brewery. Be sure to ask for hiker specials when you visit.
Do you have music?
Yes, we often have music on the weekends in both our Winchester and Front Royal locations. We feature bands that from various genres including rock, bluegrass, country, reggae, etc. Check out the Vibrissa Beer Events page for the latest. Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, you can purchase gift cards from any server or bartender at either location or you can purchase Vibrissa Beer gift cards online. Online gift cards can be sent via email to yourself or to a friend or a loved one as a great gift! All they need to do is bring the printed gift certificate on their visit. Gift cards can be used at either location.
