Born out of garage jam sessions in Denver, CO – Steve Marz (keys/vox) and Tomas Houser (guitar) started Night Routine in March of 2021 hitting it off and very quickly producing a deep catalogue of music rooted in both personal and worldly reflections. In November of 2021, they added Marcos Hudson (Bass) and Matthew Meloney (Drums), defining the band’s studio sound. While deeply committed to its core cast of musicians, Night Routine recognizes the power and camaraderie of a revolving cast of both friends and musicians to its live performances. In summer of 2023, at the onset of their second annual Virginia tour, the group added the likes of local Virginians Jackson Cain (Bass) and Addison Barber (Saxophone), and Josh Neitzel (Drums) to create a truly remarkable live sound that embodies just that – ‘A fivesome of fierce friends jamming out’. Having toured both Colorado and beyond, the band has frequented Colorado staples such as Cervantes Masterpiece and 10 Mile Music Hall. The band has deep roots in Virginia with Tomas Houser, Addison Barber, and Jackson Cain all hailing from Winchester, Virginia. These ‘Sons of Winchester’ & friends are ready to bring the funk, pop, soul, and fire of good ol’ Frederick County!
